Start a job when an earlier step isn't finished

What it does. Normally a step waits until the step before it is finished. When you need to start anyway, D2 warns you first and then lets you.

How to use it

If the job says Waiting for predecessor, tap Start anyway. When the Start Job pop-up says "An earlier step is not finished", confirm to start regardless.

FAQ

Is starting early tracked? Yes. The job shows a "started out of order" flag so the planner can see it.
