Shortage list

What it does. Lists parts that no active PO or work order covers: item, description, item group, quantity required, on hand, quantity short, the work order, the need-by date, the order's current step, and notes. Planners and admins can edit the notes.

How to use it

Open Needs Ordering on Planning. Filter by item group, or open an order's timeline from its row.

The list is empty. Every component is covered by inventory, a PO or a work order.
