The Shop Floor board

What it does. Shows every released job, grouped under its work centre, in the order it should run. Each row shows the work order number, when this step should end, when the whole work order is due, the part, description, quantity, the work centre it is at, the time remaining, the next operation, and the customer with their PO (or the work order this job feeds).

How to use it

Open the Shop Floor tab. Find your work centre's heading. The jobs underneath are in run order, so the top one is next. Click any row to open its details.

FAQ

Why is a date red? A Step End or WO Due date that has already passed shows as a red badge.

Why is a row darker blue? Someone is clocked in on that job right now.

What does "Next Operation" tell me? Where the job goes after this step, including an outside vendor step such as heat treat or plating.
