D2D² Schedulerhelp

Staff a day

What it does. Puts operators on work centres for one day and shows whether the released work has the people it needs. Rows are operators, columns are work centres.

How to use it

Open Schedule, then Staffing. Step through days with ‹ ›, or click Today.

Each column header shows the hours released to that work centre. The bottom rows total Staffed and Unstaffed per work centre. Unstaffed is red when released work has no one on it, and green when it is covered. Hours left on the right turns amber when an operator is booked past their shift.

The line above the grid totals the day: Released, Staffed, Unstaffed, Bench Nh of Nh. Bench is the shift hours not yet put anywhere.

To narrow the grid, tick loaded only or labour-consuming only, or pick a department. If a filter hides a work centre that has people on it, D2 names it.

FAQ

Why is a cell grey? That work centre is not one of the operator's recorded work centres. You can still staff it.

It says Not a shop day. That day has no hours in Settings → Shop Hours, so there is no shift to staff.

Why does demand only count released work? Staffing is for what the floor will run. Committed work that is not released yet does not count.
