Work centre queues
What it does. Gives each work centre a card on the right of the Scheduling view. It shows how far its released work reaches with the labour you have staffed. A line across the top does the same for the whole shop.
How to use it
The shop line reads Released through: N days · date. Nearest gap names the work centre that runs dry first, and the day.
Each card shows:
- Name, and N days · through day: how long its released work lasts.
- WC Daily Capacity = N hours, and the hours staffed today.
- Released: the run order, with total hours. N ops over by Nh means steps have logged more time than planned.
- cut line · beyond today's labor: steps below the line will not get done with today's staffing.
- Loaded (staging): steps loaded but not yet released, with total hours.
Click a card's name to filter the Committed Queue to that work centre. Click it again, or Clear WC filter, to clear it. Drag the bar between the two panels to resize them.
FAQ
How do I move the through date? It follows the labour staffed on that work centre. Change the staffing (F-0069) and the date moves.
What does ↻ rescheduling… mean? A capacity or work-centre change just started a re-plan. The card updates when it finishes.
What is a sequencing-only card? A work centre that orders its steps but does not count labour. It shows no days or cut line.
