Scheduling and Staffing

What it does. The Schedule tab has two views. Scheduling is where you load and release the day's work. Staffing is where you put operators on work centres. The header above both shows how much work is on the schedule.

How to use it

Pick Scheduling or Staffing at the top right. Staffing is greyed out if your role cannot staff.

The header line reads N operations · Week view. When steps are running late it adds a red ⚠ N off-track. Below it you see the hours on the schedule: Hours Scheduled Today in Day view, or Xh scheduled / Yh capacity (Z%) for a longer range. The figure turns amber above 80% and red above 100%.

FAQ

What does off-track mean? A step is off-track when it ends later than the order's due date leaves room for. Every later step in the order needs at least a day.

The arrows and the Day / Week list don't change the queues. Why? The Scheduling view always works on today. The arrows, Today and the range list only change the header totals.
