Staffing needed

What it does. Lists the work centres with work placed on days nobody is staffed, earliest due date first, so you know where to put people and by when. A second table, Under-staffed, lists work centres that have people but not enough to meet due dates.

How to use it

Pick Week or 2 weeks. The line at the top totals the hours, the work centres and the earliest due date.

Each row shows the work centre, how many days have no one on them, the hours placed there, how many people a day it needs, and the earliest due date with its work order. Click a row to see each day, its hours and the work orders behind them.

Under-staffed shows, for each work centre, the people staffed and their hours a day, the day its booked work runs out to, how many work orders will be late, and what one more person would do: bring them inside their due dates by a given day, or still leave some late.

FAQ

What does placed mean? The schedule has put work on that day. Placed work on a day with nobody staffed will not get done unless you staff it or move it.

How is people a day worked out? From the rate shown when you open a row: one person's shift at your capacity percentage.

Why can't I see the re-plan button? It is for admins and planners. It also hides when no committed work order has a step at that work centre.
