Operators

What it does. Lists the shop floor operators and the work centres each can run.

How to use it

Open Settings, then Operators. Each operator has a name, code, type (Direct or Indirect), shift hours, default work centre, qualified work centres, and an active switch. Click a work centre code to toggle the operator's qualification. Qualified work centres show coloured. Tick Hide inactive/indirect to shorten the list.

FAQ

What does the default work centre do? Populate Defaults on the Schedule tab staffs each operator there (F-0070). Changing it, or the shift hours, redoes that operator's unlocked days.

What is the difference between direct and indirect? Direct operators count toward staffing and the shop's labour budget.
