Committed Queue
What it does. Lists every committed work order with its steps, ready to load. The heading counts them: N WOs · N ops, plus any outside steps shown for information.
How to use it
Each work order gets a header row: WO number, customer, part and quantity, due date, linked sales order, and the hours left. (stock) after the due date means no sales order backs it. Under it, one row per step shows:
- Seq and position, for example 2/5
- Work Center
- Sched Start
- State
- Step: Ready, or what it waits on
- Material
- Hrs left
- Load (the → button)
To narrow the list:
- Sort by Recommended (started orders first, then orders with work in progress, then earliest scheduled start), Customer, Due date, Description, Quantity or Sched Start, and flip it with Asc / Desc.
- Type in Filter customer / description / WO#, or Filter by component item# to see only orders that use a part.
- Pick a department, work centre or customer. Each has an is / not switch.
- Paste a list of WO numbers. The queue shows N of N found and names any it could not find.
- Set a scheduled-start range.
- Click a WO number to filter to that order. Clear resets everything.
